The latest recording by The Parsons Affayre is “Membra Jesu nostri”. We are joined by a wonderful ensemble of period instruments including The Emerald’s Viol Consort, to perform this stunning Cantata cycle of seven pieces, each representing the seven wounds Christ received whist on the Cross. Composed by Dietrich Buxtehude (1637 – 1707), JS Bach’s much admired mentor. Recorded live during our annual Lenten Project in 2013. Pre order now to receive delivery before the official release date.
